Slope Formula Practice Worksheet

The first two problems are for finding the rise/run from a graph. Students are then introduced to an illustration of the formula for finding slope from two points (Y2-Y1/ X2-X1), followed by five practice problems. You could use this to teach the lesson.

This is CCSS 8.F. Students match each graph to the correct situation. There are two time-speed graphs and the rest are time-distance graphs. You could cut out the cards and have students glue the matching ones on a poster board.
